NEMA Management was engaged by the staff and board of the Center for Craft to represent them in an ambitious repurposing of an amazing historic building. NEMA was able to advise on and help re-structuring the project approach, align the design to the budget and achieve a program that met the transforming needs of the Center. The project included the renovation and re-purposing of an approximately 23,000SF, 3 story building in the heart of downtown Asheville. NEMA was also able to assist with soliciting and procuring bank financing.

Faced with the challenge of a multi-million dollar renovation, our nonprofit engaged the support of NEMA Management. NEMA brings refreshing integrity, patience, and common sense - a ‘let’s get the job done’ attitude to each issue - always conscious of cost and schedule impacts. NEMA also works with ease among a wide range of individuals needed for a successful project from architect, banker, builder, sub-contractors, and employees.
