NEMA Management was selected by MetLife to assist with the interior up fit design coordination of the project through completion. The new MetLife 3 building, as situated in the heart of an existing 1,000+ employee campus, will have a transformative impact. The project consists of 130,000SF, 7-story, steel framed building with separate, 650 car pre-cast parking deck. Spaces include, lobby, grab and go food service, MetLife Square (public or client facing area), MetLife Clubs (collaborative zone with refreshments in support of Neighborhoods), MetLife Neighborhoods (open workstations and offices, phone rooms, focus rooms, mother’s rooms, print and support spaces, etc.), Collaborative areas, Meeting rooms (with and without video conferencing), War Rooms (for team based focused work), Technology Support Spaces (IDF Rooms, etc.), Amenities, TechStar Technology Incubator (co-located but separate from MetLife Workplace) CSC (Customer Service Center) of the Future, curtain wall exterior, and extensive outdoor landscaping/hardscaping. The building expects to achieve LEED certification. NEMA Management is providing; coordination of owner provided items, Value Analysis, Permit Expediting, Establish GMP, Construction Management, Quality Assurance, End User Vendor Coordination, Punchlist Turnover and Closeout Management.
