This new facility provides 100 beds of skilled nursing facility with rehabilitation beds and 20 new beds for and assisted living memory support facility built on an existing, fully-operational continuing care retirement community. This project includes conversion of existing skilled nursing space to an assisted living facility and required a certificate of need and regulatory approval of the NCDHHS. NEMA was engaged as the owner’s agent focused on identifying, budgeting, coordinating and procuring the owner provided items including, IT, AV, Nurse Call Stations, Security, Fitness Equipment, and FF&E. NEMA also coordinated early investigations of the site with geotechnical studies and participated in the design throughout the process and will oversee the construction.
