NEMA Management, representing the client/owner by building and leading a team, will act as the center point of contact for the planning, organizing and directing of a project from early planning and design, to construction and turn over. Our approach includes building and managing the project budget, schedule, scope, risk and resources.
NEMA Management oversees and coordinates a broader strategy beyond a single project—similar to Project Management, but often on multiple projects and multiyear phasing and executing on Master Plans or to achieve a broader organization goal.
NEMA Management will act as a liaison between the owner and the project design and construction team. We advocate for the Owner. We will provide efficient and effective communication and expertise to help ownership with informed decisions.
NEMA Management will assist in the process of planning, organizing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. We push project teams to assist with budget and schedule compliance. We are an advocate of the owner. NEMA Management does not act as the general contractor or as a traditional CM at Risk contractor. Construction Management emphasis is on the actual construction after the planning and design is completed.
NEMA Management can assist and advise in the process of evaluating the feasibility of capital projects from early inception and concepts. We advise and assist with land acquisition efforts, generation of a development plan, financial models, financing, jurisdictional entitlements, assembling the project team, design, permitting and construction.
NEMA Management will assist an owner with long-term strategies for optimal utilization of facilities; land use to include mix of uses, growth and flex spaces; and consistent and harmonious ultimate build outs.
NEMA Management will assist ownership and the project team with approaching a project that minimizes the overall environmental impact and enhances the wellness of the building for the occupants. Examples include Energy Efficiency, Water Conservation, Waste Reduction, Indoor Air Quality, Sustainable Materials, Daylighting & Views and Occupant Control and could include certifications with USGBC LEED, Energy Star, Well Building, Green Globes, System Vision, Advanced Energy or others.
